Changing Stree Signs??

I can't believe the stupidity of this suggestion! Changing street signs where there is no need to??I wouldn't want anyone to know I even suggested this if I were you. There just are not any words to describe the lack of good sense! And with our country in such dire staits you really have set poor priorities.

Street Sign Changes

Changing letters on Street Signs is absolutely absurd and unnecessarily a cost we taxpayers strongly object to. In these poor economic times of distress with the country in a state of bankruptcy, spending more money for a STUPID WHIM of a bureaucrat is STUPID, idotic, and wasteful. The originator should be FIRED. don riley, Marietta, Ohio

Bonds to specifically fund revenue generating infrastructure

Collaborate with the Treasury to create bonds (or some other interest bearing investment) that are only invested in revenue generating infrastructure, initially power generation which, once the revenue stream from power generation is established, is used to fund transportation projects that save energy.

Here is a link to paper written by Richard G. Little (University of Southern California - School of Policy Planning... more »
